Top 200 Magazines For Libraries

Popular Magazines For Libraries

Each year we like to compile a list of the most popular magazines ordered by our public library and school library customers. We’re often asked what magazines other libraries order, so this list is a great start when seeking the most popular print magazines ordered by other libraries.

The magazine list below is from our 2018 magazine orders (removing titles that have ceased publication) and is listed by popularity. For example, Consumer Reports is the number 1 most popular title ordered by public libraries and school libraries, People is number 2, National Geographic for Kids is number 3, etc.

Even though we carry thousands and thousands of magazine titles, these top 200 titles are by far the most popular, making up 76% of our magazine orders. The remaining THOUSANDS of titles make up only 24% of the magazine titles our library customers order.

If you’re looking for new magazine ideas or want to quickly see what other libraries are ordering, this list will help!
