Renewing Subscriptions Should Be Easy For Libraries!

As we were dreaming about what Rivistas Subscription Services should look like and how we would interact with our library customers, one theme kept reoccurring: Renewals.  We knew we only had to do one thing to stand out from the other agencies in regards to renewals, and that was to simply make the process EASY.

Traditionally “renewal season” is the time of year that subscription agents get bombarded with questions and “little request” here and there.  “Hey, I never received my renewal, can you send it to me” or “I need another copy by this afternoon.”  “I can’t find what I am looking for!”  “Can you tell me about this title?” The question I always loved was “Can’t we do this online???”  And honestly, you would think by 2012 that would be easy to accommodate, wouldn’t you?  Matter of fact, shouldn’t all of these request be able to be quickly fulfilled faster than it would take to send an email or make a call requesting the needed details.  We at Rivistas Subscription Services, certainly believe so!

We set out to make the renewal process incredibly easy.  For each order a library has on file with us, a renewal exists that the customer has access to 24/7.  The renewal is, in essence, a “shopping cart” full of all of  previously ordered subscriptions.  From there, one can quickly add to the cart or remove the titles no longer desired.  The customer can change the quantity and the desired start date, if needed.  From there, the customer can submit the renewal as an order, save the file on their desktop to send through the proper purchasing channels, or save it online and come back and work on it at a later time.  We’ve made it so simple!  We truly feel renewing magazines should be simple, quick and efficient each year.

So many libraries are in the process of renewing their subscriptions right now, so I wanted to let libraries know that we have an excellent solution to what I consider to be one of the hiccups with traditional subscription services.  You will always find Rivistas Subscription Services easy to work with online, and we’re also available when you need a person to talk with to help provide the one-on-one touch that is needed.
